SNOWPEAK PR900S-GEN2 REGULATED 5.5MM
Get all the bells and whistles at an entry-level price with the Snowpeak PR900S-Gen2 Regulated 5.5mm. Based on the popular Artemis PR900W Gen2, this little powerhouse got a complete overhaul. The solid synthetic stock with enhanced grip is not the only upgrade, though. Additionally, the PR900S delivers dozens of accurate and dependable shots, thanks to a regulator mechanism. You get a 7-shot magazine, single shot tray and removable silencer, as well as spare seals and a fill probe.
Features
The wooden version by Artemis (a Snowpeak brand) has always been popular as a “beginner’s” airgun, and also for shooters looking for a lightweight powerhouse. The improvements on Snowpeak’s PR900S are all in answer to what shooters would have improved on the ever popular wooden stock version. Not many PCP air rifles offer open sights and regulated budget-friendly airguns are also few and far in between. So Snowpeak listened and brought even more consistency, as well as accuracy, to a well-loved favourite.
With the well-balanced synthetic stock, you get durability and low maintenance, as well as improved grip. There’s still the standard rubber butt-pad, ensuring you get a comfortable shouldering effect to take that confident shot. This Gen2 version comes complete with a removable silencer, as well as a threaded barrel.
If open sight shooting is your go-to, then you’re in luck! The front sight, located just behind the barrel’s threading, is a fixed metal blade sight. On the other hand, the rear sights are adjustable and removable. The Dovetail milled breech let’s you add either a scope or other optics of your choice, even over the sights if the mounts allow. An adjustable trigger lets you control your pull, while the manual Cross Trigger safety ensures no accidental shots get fired.
You can shoot either single shot or multi-shot, thanks to an included single shot tray and 7-shot magazine. The magazine is easy to load and simple to fit and remove, so even beginners and youngsters can have a go at it. With a short throw bolt action it is easy to use, with a light pull weight and is ideal for beginner and pro shooters alike. You can carry this tough light weight rifle all day long!
