AIRMAKS KATRAN L HP 5.5MM
The AirMaks Katran L HP 5.5mm is a lightweight PCP air rifle, named after the Black Sea shark – the Katran. This is the HP (High Power) version which offers a larger volume of Power Plenum and its barrel without a choke has been especially designed for slugs. You can of course still use standard pellets. Delivering up to 47 ft.lbs (or 64 J) of energy!
You can fold the CNC machined aluminium buttstock to the left side with just one press of the button, while a magnet holds it in place. Also, you can adjust both the cheek rest and buttpad, made from durable ABS polymer, for height.
The action is simply amazing. You can cock the rifle with one finger and without having to take your eyes off the target. The side lever has incredibly smooth action and short travel. You have the option to take it off and attach it to the left side. This model is also outfitted with a mechanism that prevents double feeds.
Katran L HP features a 520 mm barrel, also outfitted with a sound moderator. You can add more baffles to make it even more effective or use any sound moderator with the 1/2 UNFx20 thread.
The air cylinder has a capacity of 285 cc and a maximum fill pressure of 300 Bar. They attached the forearm with KeyMod slots directly to the cylinder. This pushes the overall balance of the rifle slightly forward. The 22 mm Weaver rail will allow you to attach a scope.
Featuring a fully adjustable trigger, as well as an AR-15 pistol grip that offers great ergonomic properties. You can find the manual safety on the left side of the body and you can even control it with the buttstock folded.
