Description
WEIHRAUCH HW45 SPRING PISTON 4.5MM
Choose the Weihrauch HW45 Spring Piston 4.5mm for an accurate, powerful springer air pistol with a modern and also compact design.
Weihrauch loosely modelled the HW45 on the Colt 1911 semi-auto’s shape, one of the most famous service pistols in the world, for improved aesthetics. Featuring an all metal construction with smooth black finish, as well as ambidextrous walnut grips with diamond checkering. You get more than just looks from these grips, because the texture aids in handling and enhanced precision whilst aiming and shooting.
The HW45 produces around 5.5 ft.lbs of muzzle energy with laser flat trajectories. So, your projectiles are far less susceptible to crosswinds and other environmental conditions. This, of course, leads to higher accuracy and a pistol that is a more than capable target shooter. You can choose between two velocities without pumping, using the two-position spring piston system. Cock it to 90 degrees for around 2 ft.lbs. or crank the lever all the way over for around 5.5 ft.lbs.
As with all Weihrauch’s products, you get a quality, precision made pistol meant for accuracy and durability. They added a fully adjustable 2-stage precision match trigger and ambidextrous manual safety, as well as a dry firing facility. For sights, you get fibre-optic enhanced inserts on both the fixed front and fully adjustable micrometre rear sights.
If you want to fit additional optics, like a scope or red dot sight, they included a 13mm Dovetail style rail.

About Weihrauch Sport
Weihrauch Sport is well-known for producing exceptionally good airguns. And right so, as their air rifles and air pistols have the deserved reputation of being durable and accurate. These facts prove that Weihrauch’s got it right with their production process and company philosophy. They focus on quality before quantity, cementing them solidly amongst the top tiers, more than a century after the business start-up.
They produce airguns in very modern facilities with computerised technology such as CNC-milling machines, et cetera. However, they still highly value traditional craftsmanship as part of the production process. That’s why they don’t settle for just batch testing the parts that they produced with the precision machinery.
Skilful workers examine every single component for precision, dimensional accuracy and, when a part is metal, the proper hardening.
In Weihrauch’s philosophy, you can only have total control of the production process if you actually examine each and every part that you make. This will definitely take more time, but is the only guarantee for top quality. For this, Weihrauch is adamant to use the skills of craftspeople over robotic eyes and feelers. Where they can make improvements with modern production methods, they will, of course. But Weihrauch still values micrometers, the human eye and the human touch in certain areas. The sight and feel of skilfully trained craftspeople is near impossible to beat.
Taking the above into consideration, it won’t surprise you to learn that Weihrauch Sport completely hand-assembles each airgun. Furthermore, the test every air rifle and air pistol on the firing range for speed, accuracy and also consistency. Only if it passes these last scrupulous tests, a Weihrauch can be sold.
