In addition, the trap uses heavy-gauge steel and handles lead airgun pellets in 4.5mm (.177 calibre), as well as 5.5mm (.22 calibre). You can place the trap freestanding, attach it to a pole, or mount it on a wall using the keyhole slot at the back. Moreover, in any setup, you can install and remove the trap quickly, and its compact design makes it easy to transport and store. Finally, to prevent weather-related damage, always store the trap indoors when you are not using it.

Safety
First, always wear proper eye and ear protection whenever you shoot. Next, follow all bylaws and ensure that you provide a sufficient backstop to catch stray pellets. A backstop can include any material that safely stops a pellet if you miss the target or if the pellet passes through it. Depending on the terrain, you can use the ground as a backstop. Otherwise, choose a brick, stone wall, or any other suitable material. Finally, never shoot steel BBs at this trap, because they can rebound or ricochet and potentially cause permanent eye injury.
