These mounts feature a thumb screw on each of the two mounts for the brackets that grip the mount rail. This makes it easy to fasten and take off, yet creates great hold strength and stability. Four screws hold each top cap firmly and securely to the mount bottoms, while the soft material stick strip prevent scratches on your scope tube.
A good ring set is critically important, as it is the only point of connection between your rifle and riflescope.
