Description
AGN TECHNOLOGY URAGAN KING WALNUT 5.5MM
The AGN Technology Uragan King Walnut 5.5mm features not one, but two massive air cylinders, giving you a large volume of air. This means you can shoot a lot of lead before you need to fill them again. Each cylinder has a capacity of 530 cc and a maximum fill pressure of 300 Bar. That makes 1060 cc of air in total. The only downside, of course, is the fact that it also makes the gun heavier and less ergonomic than the standard version. However, your rifle is still not that heavy at just 4.1 kg.
This model from Czech manufacturer Airgun Technology is the embodiment of accuracy and reliability. Even the tiniest details were designed to give you the best possible shooting experience.
The CZ barrel is choked and has a length of 570 mm. It is also shrouded to reduce the noise and you can even attach an additional sound moderator to the M14x1,25 thread. You get optimal performance with every shot, thanks to the pressure regulator.
The side lever has a very smooth action and AGN included two magazines, each with a capacity of 12 pellets in 5.5mm, which is .22 calibre.
You can mount a scope to the 22 mm Weaver rail located on the top of the rifle. The manual safety is placed inside the trigger guard.
Balanced Valve
Balanced valves are designed to reduce the hammer strike and spring force required to open upon firing. It does not rely solely on the hammer spring to overcome the pressure on the firing valve. It basically equalizes the pressure on both sides of the valve. This has several advantages, of course. It not only makes for easier cocking, but due to the less required spring rate, it is easier overall on the gun’s components. Trigger pull can be easier and lighter. The sear to hammer connection will not wear anywhere near as fast over the years. Hammer strike will be lighter, so less disturbance of the rifle in the firing cycle. Hence, lending better potential in overall accuracy.
For a really odd example, note the much higher accuracy at distance between the rather violent shot cycle of a springer compared to a PCP. The PCP is a much more dead shot cycle. The balanced valve, with its lighter spring, and resulting lighter hammer hit on the valve, carries this trait even further. A real step up in possible long range precision!
