The DonnyFL Yokozuna Silencer QD .22 S88 is part of DonnyFL’s new Quick Disconnect (QD) moderators. The perfect premium airgun sound moderator that is both appealing to the eye and effective. Being modular, it is not only customisable to suit your needs, but also striking with its sleek design lines.
The team at DonnyFL gave these precision-engineered moderators a secure Quick-Detach system. So, you can quickly and easily attach or detach the silencer. It comes with a ½x20 thread adapter to mount onto the barrel of your airgun. Attaching the moderator is a piece of cake after that. You simply place it on the thread adapter and twist it once, after which it’s secured tightly. Thanks to their unique design, you get consistent shooting performance with no point-of-impact changes after detaching and re-attaching. It will align perfectly each and every time with extremely tight tolerances.
The DonnyFL Yokozuna moderator has a modular design, which consists of a base that goes onto the QD thread adapter, as well as four baffles and a front plate. This modularity makes the moderator length-adjustable and the length (the amount of baffles) will naturally have an effect on the moderator’s effectiveness. The baffles are threaded, so you can fasten them securely and it prevents them from accidentally dislodging.
They crafted these calibre-specific moderators from high-grade aluminum, making them robust and also modular to adapt to your shooting needs. So they won’t get damaged when they are quick attached or detached. The Yokozuna, or sumo grand champion, has the same outer diameter as their Sumo at 40.64 mm or 1.6 inches.
Notes
Silencers are generally more effective on CO² and PCP Airguns than on gas and spring piston airguns. The way they work is by suppressing the muzzle sound. Most of the sound from spring and gas piston airguns are mechanical sounds, from the piston itself and not air or the pellets leaving the barrel.
As this silencer is for air rifle use only, we do not recommend using it on any firearm or larger calibres than specified.
If you see white lines on the inside of the front cap, that’s normal. They were caused by the prongs holding the pieces while anodizing, not pellet clippings.
