GHILLIE SUIT CAMOUFLAGE OUTFIT
Blend into your environment and avoid detection with this Ghillie Suit Camouflage Outfit. Four piece camo suit that comes in a handy carry bag. You get snap close buttons on the front of the top for easy fastening, as well as a spring cord lock to fasten the pants around your waist. The carry bag also features a spring cord lock, and also a lengthy carry handle. You get lightweight breathable mesh-like material on the insde.
A ghillie suit is a type of camouflage suit designed to resemble the background environment such as foliage, snow or sand. Typically, it is a net or cloth garment covered in loose strips of burlap (hessian), cloth, or twine. Sometimes made to look like leaves and twigs, and optionally augmented with scraps of foliage from the area.
Military personnel, police, hunters, and nature photographers may wear a ghillie suit to blend into their surroundings and conceal themselves from enemies or targets. The suit gives the wearer’s outline a three-dimensional breakup, rather than a linear one. When manufactured correctly, the suit will move in the wind in the same way as surrounding foliage. Because they are made with light and breathable material, you can wear clothing under some ghillie suits.
The word ghillie actually comes from a Scots Gaelic term meaning “boy”. This was in reference to boy servants that assisted in hunting and fishing expeditions. Today, people use them for various outdoor activities. Photography, bird watching, hunting and training, and even paintball and airsoft players use them to up the game, as well!
