This is the GX E-L2 18V (220V) 300BAR Battery Compressor for airguns, like PCP air rifles and PCP pistols. Extremely portable, as well as lightweight and cordless – perfect for on the go refilling. Wherever you go, whenever you need it, just take it with you.
The GX-E-L2 model runs off a single 18V 7.8Ah Lithium-ion battery. They’re easy to get online and in hardware stores, so you can replace it with same type of 18V battery. This makes the compressor incredibly portable – easy to put in a tree stand or field blind and makes topping off your gun in the field simpler than ever. With a 220V AC converter available separately, you can even run it off electricity through a power-outlet.
Unlike other electric high-pressure air pumps which need additional cooling, this one is air-cooled only. You don’t need to bother with oil cooling or the addition of a water pump and reservoir. No mess, and thus way less fuss. It’s also been upgraded from their previous model, with the 2-minute delay heat dissipation a thing of the past.
This newer model provides up to 250W power, so one battery will run the compressor for 30-35 minutes. This will let you fill a 0.5L reservoir from 1000 psi to 3000 psi up to 8 times or from 3000 psi to 4500 psi about 5 times. It does so quite fast, considering its size and price tag, filling a 0.5L reservoir from 200 BAR to 300 BAR in about 4-5 minutes.
Use
This electric air pump is mainly designed for filling less than 60 cubic inch or 1L pressure vessels, such as PCP airguns and paintball markers. Ideally, no more than 0.7L filling is recommended to keep your compressor working at its best for longer.
This version is not the auto-stop version, so please turn it off manually when the pressure gauge reaches the desired value.
Refer to the product manual or Manufacturer’s website for detailed instructions and guidelines, as well as safety information. Do this before assembling anything. Incorrect set-up and/or use of compressors could cause damage to the compressor and can even cause injury.
As a very important pro-tip, cool the compressor down for at least 10 minutes after every 15 minutes that it runs. Also, use compressors as a “top-up” filling method, not “fill-from-empty” method. Your compressor doesn’t work as hard and empty airguns bring problems of their own.
