H&N HORNET 4.5MM 9.57GR 225PCS

These H&N pellets have great manufacturing consistency and fit in most air rifle magazines. Shooters worldwide mainly use these pellets for small game and bird hunting. Although, they are also very popular with pest controllers. The German-manufactured pellets sell in tins of 225. Even though they are not the cheapest pellets, the quality results justify the price for most hunters and pest controllers.

H&N recommends these Hornet pellets for rifles with a minimum muzzle energy of 5.5 foot-pounds. Likewise, they recommend a maximum shooting distance of 30 meters, but these pellets have been tested much further with great success.

These Hornet pellets have an outstanding reputation for impact and expansion. Particularly, in PCP air rifles that are tuned to work well with their mid-weight, 9.57 grain weight. Most rifles at the right muzzle velocity “like” these pellets. There is a beautiful balance between the right velocity and the muzzle energy and impact they produce.

The Ballistic Coefficient of H&N 4.5mm Hornet pellets are 0.016. This figure indicates that these pellets hold their velocity well downrange at mid ranges. They start out at a higher Muzzle Velocity than heavier pellets and hold-up well out to the target!
