About JSB
The history of the company goes back to 1991. The former owner of the company, Josef Schulz, started the production of the sporting ammunition for air weapons under the name of JSB MATCH DIABOLO BOHUMIN. Josef Schulz is a former active gun marksmen and coach. After he finished with the active shooting and coaching, he started engaging in the research and development in the field of air guns ammunition production.
Based on his personal experience, later he had stamping machines made, on which he started to produce the ammunition. In 2008 JSB Match Diabolo a.s., which bought Josef Schulz’s company, linked up with the previous Schulz’s activity and soon after changed into an incorporated company.
Quality Control
The quality control of the products is done throughout the whole process of pellets processing. In order to guarantee the highest quality of ammunition, they start at the very beginning, with the raw material control. They require the lead to be in a certified cleanness of 99,97%. The whole process is, of course, a manufacturing secret. However, each semi-product must meet specific quality requirements, which they continuously control.
Even through the above stated production quality control, all products undergo hand-picked quality control. They do this in a special department, which employs specifically trained workers. Their working tools are a magnifying glass, a pair of tweezers, micrometer and a table lamp. The human eye is in this process an irreplaceable “tool”, which can detect even the smallest imperfection.
The hand-picked quality control focuses on shape imperfections that not only show the constant proportions and weight of the pellets, but also the accuracy of the production equipment setting. If all edges are sharp and the shapes are full, they know for sure that the proportions and weight are perfect.
