The Presslug 5.5mm Slug Press with Die Set .217 will allow you to create your very own airgun slugs. It is really easy to use, too!
You control the press via a single lever with a comfortable rubber grip. So, for each press, you manufacture a slug. Its durable body, made from the EN AW 7075 aluminium alloy, features a black anodized finish. Furthermore, the pressing mold, pellet / slug die and the die counterpart were created from TOOLOX 44 steel. This model is produced in Czech Republic with the help of high-tech CNC technologies.
There’s no doubt that airgun slugs are a hot topic in South Africa. Compared to traditional diabolo (waisted) airgun pellets, airgun slugs offer improved accuracy at long ranges. They also deliver greater downrange impact due to a higher Ballistic Coefficient. The trajectory is flatter and they’re less affected by crosswinds, too.
