When you’re looking for serious sound moderation, look no further than the SA Silencers Long Carbon Monocore. Designed to hush down high powered airguns, while looking stunning on just about any shroud or barrel.

Unlike many other sound moderators available for airguns in South Africa, we do not mass-produce the SA Silencers range in factories. We carefully consider every design, making sure the end user gets a quality product at the best possible price. All of our sound moderators are the result of a specific need – smaller, lighter, more durable, more effective. We manufacture them ourselves, assemble each unit by hand and also inspect and test them for quality and consistency.

Designed to be on par with the premium brands made outside of South Africa, you get our premium silencers at a fraction of the cost, of course. No middle man, no import costs! Just quality and results at affordable prices. In addition, you get local South African support when you need it, naturally.

Design

Both durable and effective and featuring a single, precision CNC machined alloy core. Designed to limit the chance of clipping and increase accuracy, along with impressive sound dampening. 1/2″UNF x 20 threaded and fit for use in 4.5mm and 5.5mm airguns.

This Monocore silencer’s outer tube is sleek and stylish carbon fibe tube. Meanwhile, the endcaps are high quality alloy and precision CNC machined. They get a chemical treatment before they are anodized in stylish black for maximum durability. Our unique design alloy monocore, also precision CNC machined, is at the heart of this silencer. It is longer in length than the medium Monocore version and also slightly thicker, making it quieter. Furthermore, you can easily disassemble the unit for routine cleaning, if necessary. The core performs much like an air stripper, “stripping away” the air around the projectile.

Our monocore design increases accuracy and limits the chance of pellet and slug clipping. Furthermore, it eliminates vibration, along with the use of moving parts or epoxy that may become loose after 1000’s of rounds. We assemble each silencer by hand and inspect and test them for quality and consistency.

These Premium Monocore silencers are recommended for use in high powered air rifles, if you really want to take the bark out of your beast!
