Key Features

Furthermore, the device displays your rifle’s vertical angle, allowing you to calculate the cosine factor precisely and make accurate adjustments for uphill or downhill shots. It also records the time between shots and visualizes muzzle movement, enabling you to analyse consistency, refine technique, and consequently improve shooting speed.
Moreover, the SG Pulse connects wirelessly to the Drills app, providing real-time video overlays, performance tracking, and detailed shot analysis. Finally, it features a water-resistant aluminium housing and delivers up to 50 hours of continuous operation, making it a reliable and robust tool for any shooter and the compact item package measures 10.0cm × 7.0cm × 6.4 cm. The SG Pulse comes with a Picatinny + M-LOK mount, charging cable, and a quick start guide.
Mounting the SG Pulse
The SG Pulse is designed for quick and secure attachment to your rifle. Before installation, make sure the mounting surface is clean and free of debris.
First, identify an appropriate mounting point on your rifle, such as an M-LOK slot or Picatinny rail. Next, align the SG Pulse mount with the chosen rail or slot. Then, secure the mount using the provided hardware, tightening the screws firmly but carefully. Avoid overtightening to prevent damage to the mount or your rifle.
Initial Charging and Power On
Before using your SG Pulse for the first time, fully charge the device. Its long-lasting battery provides up to 50 hours of operation on a single charge.
To charge, connect the provided cable to the SG Pulse and a compatible USB power source. During charging, the LED indicator will display the current status (see the device manual for specific LED behaviours). Once the device is fully charged, disconnect the cable.
To power on, press and hold the power button until the LED illuminates, indicating the SG Pulse is ready for use.
Connecting to the Drills Mobile App
The SG Pulse PSA works seamlessly with the free Drills training app, available for both iOS and Android devices. This app provides access to advanced features and detailed performance analysis.
To connect, first download and install the Drills app from your device’s app store. Next, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to pair it with your SG Pulse. Once connected, the app will display real-time data from your device, allowing you to monitor performance and track improvements.
Calibration and Advanced App Features
For optimal accuracy, manually calibrate your SG Pulse PSA using the Drills app. Calibration ensures correct level readings in any orientation or angle.
The Drills Training app, designed specifically for SG devices, allows you to log, analyse, and share your progress while accessing advanced features. It provides real-time readouts of rifle angles, MOA, muzzle movement, and split times, and lets you customize SG Pulse settings directly from the app.
You can capture training videos with all rifle data overlaid in real time and generate comprehensive performance reports to identify areas for improvement. All data is saved in an interactive training calendar, helping you structure and track your progress over time.
The Drills app, compatible with SG Pulse Precision Shooting Assistant, is available for download on both Google Play and the Apple App Store for iOS and Android devices.
