DONNYFL FATBOY 2.0 MUZZLE BRAKE
The DonnyFL Fatboy 2.0 Muzzle Brake, or air stripper, screws onto the front of the DonnyFL Fatboy. Placing this muzzle brake on the Fatboy 2.0 Moderator spreads the turbulent air, without disturbing the projectile. This muzzle break is a nice addition to the moderator, together with the Fatboy 2.0 Extender Tube.
Note that this unit does not come with the individual air strippers. You can change the caliber size by using the inserts that are included with the Fatboy. The Fat Boy’s strippers allow the turbulent air to diffuse, without interfering with the projectile, resulting in better precision. It is also light in weight, weighing only 82 gram (2.9 oz.)
DonnyFL made this muzzle brake from durable 6061 T6 Aluminum and anodised it in black to finish off the look. As with all DonnyFL products, you can expect extreme craftsmanship and quality, as well as performance. As their slogan states, “When silence is a priority.”
Silencers are generally more effective on CO² and PCP Airguns than on gas and spring piston airguns. The way they work is by supressing the muzzle sound. Most of the sound from spring and gas piston airguns are mechanical sounds, from the piston itself and not air or the pellets leaving the barrel.
As this silencer extender is for air rifle use only, we do not recommend using it on any firearm or larger calibres than specified.
