FX IMPACT TUNGSTEN SLUG POWER KIT

The FX Impact Tungsten Slug Power Kit gives your FX Impact the very best performance when you are shooting slugs. Slug shooting requires higher pressures to move the additional weight and bearing surface that slugs have. In addition, by using longer barrels, you can increase the speed upon firing, if the valve can remain open longer. You can achieve both with this Slug Power Kit.

Part of this kit is a 5.5 mm (.22) pellet probe that’s adjustable in length. For this, use an Allen screw at the rear. With included bushes that’ll slide on with an interference fit, the probe is also suitable for the calibre 6.35 mm (.25). The seating position, i.e. how far the slugs are pushed into the barrel, influences the accuracy and this adjustable pellet probe provides you with the means to experiment with that. This is an important feature, as you can fine tune on one specific slug. The probe is not suitable for pellet use.

Another part in this FX Impact Slug Power Kit that mainly influence the speed, is a lighter valve return spring. This lets the valve stay open longer. There’s also a buffer to protect the valve against the increased impact. Finally, you get a FX Impact Tungsten Hammer Weight.

Tungsten is a material that is 1.7x denser than steel (used for the standard FX hammers). This extra weight hits the valve with more power which allows the valve to open even at higher regulated pressures and stay open longer before closing. This is particularly useful with longer barrels (700mm & 800mm) as the longer the barrel, the more desirable it is to have the valve stay open (ideally to just before the slug leaves the barrel).

Notes

All parts are machined with very tight tolerances and the set is suitable for use in all variants of the FX Impact.
The Tungsten Hammer Weight does the job, therefore they excluded the hammer spacer(s) from the kit.
When installing this kit on an Impact M3, you don’t need to use the spring and rubber ball.
Important to note is that pellet shooters will not gain from this kit in the same way slug shooters do.
