1/8″ BSP DOWTY WASHER

The 1/8″ BSP Dowty Washer, or Bonded Seal Washer, is used as an airtight high pressure seal between two threads. It is one of the most used filling parts. Many PCP rifles’ fill probes require this part when you fit a 1/8″ Female Standard Male Nipple. This is necessary for a PCP fill station to connect to it.

1/8″ BSP DOWTY WASHER

When you have a fill station that uses a quick connect coupler, you need your fill probe to connect to it safely and securely. If your fill probe does not fit, you won’t be able to fill your rifle at all. If you don’t have a proper seal between the fill probe and nipple, the air will leak. Your rifle will not fill to the required pressure if the filling equipment don’t seal properly.

It is also used for sealing different hose connections on compressors, high pressure hoses and filling stations.
