Arken’s EP-5 is a FFP (First Focal Plane) optic that features Japanese ED glass to enhance clarity and also minimize dispersion. Users get a clear and sharp image with neither blurring nor distortion visible. The image stays clear on the edges, as well.
You can illuminate both the center dot and the immediate 4 MOA area surrounding the reticle in red, enhancing visibility and focus. Additionally, Arken outfitted this optic with their AZS system (ARKEN ZERO Stop) and incorporated adjustable elevation and windage turrets with tactile and audible clicks. Of course, this makes it easy to count every click without looking at the turret. You get 25 MOA per revolution with these precise multi-turn type turrets, while the reticle is impressively true to clicks.
Eye relief is 86mm and the eyebox is also very comfortable, making it easy to stay on target or behind the reticle through the entire magnification range. Meanwhile, the large 56mm objective lens ensures that the image remains bright through all magnifications.
