DOVETAIL TO PICATINNY RAIL ADAPTER 2PCS
Quickly and easily convert your Dovetail rail to a Picatinny rail with these ultra slim Dovetail to Picatinny Rail Adapter 2PCS. Simply insert them into your Picatinny rings’ bases so they’ll fit the smaller Dovetails often found on Airguns and Rimfire guns. Light, compact and sleek, they’re probably one of the biggest lifesavers for many shooters, retailers and also manufacturers in the Airgun industry.
Suitable for both 1 piece mounts and 2 piece mounts and a very easy, cost-effective way to make your mounts suitable for a wider range of guns. In fact, you can leave your optics in the mounts and move them from gun to gun! You’ll still have to re-sight the gun after attaching the scope, but you won’t have to reset or re-tighten the scope in the mounts.
Seeing as the Airgun industry was quite slow to catch up with the world of firearms, we lived in manufacturing limbo. Manufacturers of the better quality goods were all moving to Picatinny Rails (the military standard), whereas many Airgun manufacturers were still stuck with the older Dovetail Rail. Mostly, Picatinny has a greater flexibility for manufacturers of optics, accessories and gear.
So these adapters allow you to mount your newer and more updated accessories to your older gun. They come as a set of 2, one for each scope mount if you use 2-piece mounts, or double the grip if you use a single piece mount.
Installation
Easy to install, they simply click into the Picatinny mounts. Thanks to a spring-loaded design, they will hold in place as you position them onto your dovetail rail. You also get an anti-recoil pin that you can screw down for gripping onto spring rifles.
Or, clamp the pieces to your Dovetail rail using the sliding rods and loosely secure the screws. Then you can mount the Weaver / Picatinny mount and by clamping this, you securely press the adapter onto the Dovetail rail. Now you can secure the screws permanently.
If your rifle or pistol has a Dovetail rail that measures either 11mm or 3/8″ (approx. 9.5mm), these are set to work for you. Shooters report using them on 13mm Dovetail rails too. However, due to the unstandardized nature of Dovetail rails, Manufacturer’s can’t guarantee complete compatibility.

Disclaimer for Dovetail Scope Mounts: Compatibility Alert
Dovetail mounts are crafted to offer broad compatibility with most dovetail rails. However, it’s essential to note exceptions in rail dimensions used by specific gun manufacturers.
Manufacturers like BSA and GAMO usually employ a 13mm Dovetail rail (measured at 13.5mm). Meanwhile, FX and Walther usually utilize a 9.5mm Dovetail rail. These dimensions differ from the standard 11mm Dovetail scope mounts.
Fitting standard Dovetail mounts onto oversized Dovetail rails may lead to incorrect gun/mount/scope alignment. On the other hand, fitting them onto undersized rails could result in sliding or rocking when installed.
