Meet the Epic Two Foldable CFB Picatinny 700mm CZUB 5.5mm. This ground breaking PCP airgun follows the motto: Nothing is impossible. Combining performance and excellent workmanship, as well as complete modularity, this model comes outfitted with a 700mm unchoked barrel from CZ. Furthermore, you get a 580cc carbon fibre bottle, folding stock and a Picatinny underside mounting rail.
Not surprisingly, the EPIC TWO is a fully customizable airgun platform which you can freely customize to your liking. The designers have really gone the extra mile, because every single element of the air rifle has been meticulously thought out to the smallest detail. As a result, you have a PCP air rifle that is literally brimming with quality and innovative features.
The body and all metal parts are manufactured on top-of-the-line CNC machines, ensuring the highest quality of both workmanship and perfect fit of individual parts.
The Details
You can find the cocking lever directly above the trigger and it’s surprisingly easy to reposition it to the other side. The trigger itself is fully adjustable, of course, and has a very smooth action. In fact, you can remove and replace the entire trigger mechanism.
Epic’s folding stock without doubt received a lot of attention. Its skeletonized design, apart from its aesthetic function, also serves a practical purpose. Its so easy to adjust both the height of the cheekpiece and the position of the buttpad. There is also a practical Bag Rider. Additionally, you can attach a monopod adapter. If you’d like to replace the pistol grip, no problem! It meets the AR-15 standard, so it’s easily replaceable.
Next, a carbon fiber shroud covers the unchoked barrel, which features a standard 1/2 UNF thread. A huge advantage, of course, is the ability to easily change calibres. Simply replace the barrel and transfer port, as well as the pellet probe. You can even fine-tune the barrel tension.
The capacity of the Power Plenum is 70cc, while the carbon fiber reservoir is 580cc at 300 Bar max fill pressure.
Epic’s developers have really outdone themselves, as you can fine-tune this air rifle down to the smallest detail. You can set the pressure in the externally adjustable regulator with the included tool and you can also adjust the hammer-spring tension. Not to mention the ingenious balanced valve system, which will allow you to tune the valve with replaceable jets for higher power. Or more efficient air consumption, according to your choice of ammunition.
Mount your scope to the 30 MOA Picatinny rail, which is perfect for longer distances. For other accessories, fit them to the Picatinny accessory rail right behind the carbon bottle.
Notes and Warnings
The EPIC TWO externally adjustable regulator is designed to operate from 40-190 BAR.
For that reason, exceeding the maximum pressure of the regulator may result in damage to the regulator.
When decreasing the regulator pressure, only rotate the screw by 1/4 turn at a time and perform 2 to 3 blank shots into a safe area. Repeat this step until you reach the desired regulator pressure. Failing to follow this procedure may damage the internal regulator o-rings!
It is recommended to adjust the hammer spring tension according to the set pressure on the regulator, otherwise it may cause inconsistent shots.
To achieve maximal energies you have to open the valve for 3 mm.
