EXTENDED SCOPE RAIL & BARREL STIFFENER TENSIONER KIT 700MM
The Extended Scope Rail & Barrel Stiffener Tensioner Kit 700mm by Huma-Air is specially designed for FX Impact rifles. It provides maximum stability and stiffness to your barrel. Suitable for FX Impact MKI, MKII and M3 models, this kit combines all the attributes you want as a long-range or high power shooter! The Huma-Air extended precision picatinny scope rail comes with build in barrel clamp and 20mm carbon fiber barrel tensioner.
The Rail
This extended picatinny rail, with its 280mm of length, is around 70mm longer compared to the factory scope rail. Specially for the long distance shooters, they canted the top picatinny rail in a 30 MOA angle. This increases the vertical adjustment range of your rifle scope for longer distances. To improve the accuracy of your rifle, the scope rail is not just screwed to the action with the 3 top screws. They also made a milled keyway into the rail so it aligns perfectly on the action of your FX Impact, without sideway movement.
Underneath the extended scope rail it features a clamping section over a decent amount of the barrel, that fixates the barrel directly were it leaves the action of the rifle. Therefore, the barrel and scope rail will create one integral part with you rifle scope. This will result in better accuracy, reducing barrel harmonics and creating an extra stiff barrel construction.
(Please note: Torque on the 6x M3 screws should be between 1.75-2Nm (±15-17.5 Inch.lbs)
The Stiffener and Tensioner
Furthermore, the massive 3mm wallthickness carbon sleeve has an outside diameter of 20mm. This will stiffen the barrel even more, almost completely eliminating any barrel flex. The tensioner system reduces the amplitude of barrel movement during the shot, which results in better accuracy. Its black anodized endcap is provided with 1/2UNF threads to accept an optional harmonic barrel tuner or moderator.
The carbon fiber sleeve will replace the FX factory shroud. (Barrel kit not included.) This kit comes with a carbon fiber tensioner tube, as well as a full set of screw for assembling the kit.
This kit is now also fully compatible with the FX Impact M3 with the barrel front support with collor function (FX10339)
