HATSAN NOVASTAR PCP AIR RIFLE 5.5MM
Hatsan’s newest addition to the Nova platform offers numerous upgrades over its predecessor, including lighter weight, higher muzzle velocity and energy and more shots per fill. A beautiful rifle with a lot to offer precision shooters, pest controllers and hunters alike! The Hatsan NovaStar PCP air rifle provides quality, reliability and value all in an attractively priced package.
One of the many enhancements is the use of a Roto Index Magazine system. The Roto Index Magazine is caliber specific, detachable and holds 12 shots. Hatsan also includes a single-shot tray to accompany long-range precision shooting, as well as side-lever action cocking.
The Hatsan NovaStar uses a larger diameter, stiffer barrel shroud (also fully shrouded) with a ½-inch UNF threaded muzzle cap for fitment of a sound moderator. This significantly increases the rigidity of the barrel design for better accuracy. This rifle is also one of Hatsan’s few that features a free-floating barrel. This lends itself well to precision shooters, eliminating movement when placed on a bipod, bag, or tree branch for forend support.
There’s a new, beautiful Genuine Turkish, high grade ergonomic and ambidextrous Walnut stock that incorporates a thumbhole pistol grip and elevation-adjustable Monte Carlo cheek rest. It even has a spare magazine storage compartment built into its stock. In addition, the adjustable rubber butt pad can help provide the correct cheek weld.
Weighing in at 3.8kg (8.4 lbs.), the Hatsan NovaStar is a lot lighter than the Nova. In addition to sporting a slimmer and lighter receiver, the rifle shaves more weight by incorporating a 480cc carbon fiber air-storage reservoir that is much lighter than the aluminum version and Hatsan’s patented Anti-Knock System, which helps prevent wasting gas when the rifle is knocked or bounced.
The NovaStar retains the Quattro two-stage adjustable match trigger found on other members of the Nova family.
