H&N MATCH HEAVY 4.5MM 8.18GR 500PCS

H&N claims the lowest rate of lead fouling and consistent shot spreads thanks to special alloy. These pellets are used for both target shooting and hunting, but they have become more popular with hunters and pest controllers worldwide in recent years. These German-manufactured pellets sell in tins of four and five hundred. Although they are not the cheapest pellets, the quality results justify the price for most shooters.

4.5mm pellets are recommended for rifles with a minimum muzzle energy of 12 foot-pounds. H&N recommends a maximum shooting distance of 50 meters, but shooters tested these pellets much further with great success.

These Match pellets have an outstanding reputation for accuracy, particularly in PCP air rifles that produce enough power to work well with their heavy, 8.18 Grain weight. It is very rare to find an air rifle that doesn’t “like” these pellets. Because of their weight, Match pellets have relatively low Muzzle Velocities. However, they have a correspondingly high Muzzle Energy.

The Ballistic Coefficient of H&N Match 4.5mm pellets are 0.024. This high figure indicates that these pellets hold their velocity well downrange. Although they may not start out with a high Muzzle Velocity, it holds-up well out to the target!
