Description
PATCHWORM POCKET FIELD KIT PISTOL
It’s never been easier or more convenient to clean your pistols, thanks to the Multi-calibre PatchWorm Pocket Field Kit Pistol for both airguns and firearms. This kit is suitable for all pistols from .177 all the way to .54 calibre.
The best gun-cleaning kits are those that are simple to use and also easy to carry. While a number of gun-cleaning kits use metal rods to push cleaning patches through the barrel, others consist of reusable, calibre-specific, rope-like pull-throughs. The PatchWorm kit consists of a flexible polymer “rod” that uses fresh cleaning patches every time.
Employing seven color-coded cleaning heads of varying sizes from .20 calibre to .45 calibre, along with the flexible rod that you can coil for easy storage. This pocket cleaning kit, of course, packs down small enough to fit into a shirt pocket. It also only weighs 20 gram, making it the perfect portable gun-cleaning option.
The green .20 calibre head can also be used for .177 with just one cotton patch. The rod is shorter, so you may not be able to use it on your longer rifles.
This pocket kit version has 7 colour-coded cleaning heads:
.177 – .20 cal (green)– permanently attached
.22 cal (white)
.243 – .284 cal (black)
.308 – .348 cal (red)
.355 – .40 cal (purple)
.41 – .45 cal (orange)
.50 – .54 cal (blue)

How to Use
Simply slide on a cleaning head, pierce one wet patch, feed into the chamber and pull it out straight from the muzzle. Then flip the patch, pull again and remove the wet patch. Next, pierce one dry patch and repeat the process. Where a range of calibres is specified for a cleaning head, you can add a second patch (stacked on top of the first) for the larger calibre to achieve a tight finishing stroke.
According to PatchWorm, fouling is most easily removed from firearm barrels while the barrel is still warm.
