PATCHWORM SMALL CALIBER KIT PISTOL

The Patchworm Small Caliber Kit Pistol is perfect for both air and firearm pistols in .22, .223, as well as 5.6mm.

The rod is approximately 65.5 cm from one end to the other with enough grip area for easy extraction, should the rod get stuck for any reason. This kit includes a fixed .177 cleaning head, as well as a .22 cleaning head. Furthermore, you get one dozen dry 7/8″ round cotton patches and plain felt cleaning buttons in reusable flip-lid containers. All this comes packaged in a durable poly zip pouch, perfect for your pocket or rifle bag / case.

If you feel the fit is not tight enough, simply add another patch. If the rod is too long for your liking, simply trim it down to your preferred length. Not only can you use this rod string in your air pistol, but also in your firearms. Extra cotton pads sold separately in two sizes, both of which work well with airguns. This rod is super easy to use, too!

For heavily soiled barrels, we highly recommend using a suitable cleaning solution on your first few patches. SAA Barrel Cleaning Oil 50ml works wonders, used by many top shooters in South Africa. Thereafter, you can use dry patches until they come out clean. Very few patches are used, generally, as the patches clean quick and thoroughly.

Easy to Use

Simply grab your cleaning rod, pierce one cotton patch, feed into the chamber and pull it out straight from the muzzle. Then flip the patch, pull again and remove the patch. Next, pierce another patch and repeat the process. Where a range of calibers is specified for a cleaning head, you can add a second patch (stacked on top of the first) for the larger caliber to achieve a tight finishing stroke.
