PROFESSIONAL MINI DIGITAL SCALE

With the Professional Mini Digital Scale you get a pocket sized instrument to measure your rounds’ weights. Small in size, as well as easy to use, you can take it anywhere. It is a must-have tool when accuracy counts. Perfect for sorting competition pellets and slugs, or when your rounds got mixed up by accident.

This digital scale is equipped with a highly sensitive gravity sensor, as well as a tare function, to make the displayed weight more accurate. The high-contrast display, including LED backlighting, makes reading easier even in the dark. In addition, the 60 second auto shut-off function helps save battery power.

When you measure any compound, you don’t want to include the container’s weight in the reading. To tare a scale means to zero out the weight of whatever was already on the scale, such as a bowl or container. To tare the container, place it on the silver weighing tray. Next, wait for a stable reading, then press the tare key to reset the display to zero. Finally, you can add items to the container and get only the items’ weight.

Modes

You have 7 different modes of measurement:

g = gram (used universally, including pellet / slug weight)
oz = ounce (universally used)
gn = grain (used for powder in rounds, pellets and slugs)
ct = carat (used for gemstones, pearls, etc.)
tl = tael (a unit of weight used in east Asia, approximately equal to 1.3 ounces)
ozt = troy ounce (used in weighing precious metals. The troy ounce is the equivalent of 31.1034768 grams)
dwt = pennyweight (a unit of mass equal to 24 grains, 1⁄20 of a troy ounce and exactly 1.55517384 grams)

For pellets and slugs, as well as gunpowder, you’ll mostly use the gram (g) and grain (gn) measurements.
