ROKSTAD CARBON FIBER 6-9″ SPRING BIPOD
With the Rokstad Carbon Fiber 6-9″ Spring Bipod (RSCFP-06) from Vector Optics, you have a sturdy shooting platform that is also light in weight. Durably made of both light and sturdy carbon and 6061-T6 aluminium alloy.
As soon as you press the lock on each carbon fiber leg, the leg extend automatically, thanks to a spring system. You can extend each leg individually to your preffered length, from 155mm to 230mm, which is 6 to 9 inches, and lock into one of 6 positions.To facilitate the unfolding of the bipod, the legs contain two powerful springs that contain a rubber sheath. This obviously ensures that the springs do not come into contact with your rig to prevent scratches. Also, it keeps out dirt and therefore wears less quickly. Meanwhile, at the end of each leg you’ll find a non-slip rubber foot, perfect for use on any terrain, preventing the rifle from slipping and sliding.
You can mount the bipod thanks to the Stud Clamp with Picatinny Adapter. Furthermore, you get a sling swivel attachment right on the bipod, and padding on the forend pad to prevent scrathes on your rifle.
Why a bipod
A bipod is an attachment that creates a steady plane to take aim, commonly used on rifles to provide a forward rest, as well as reduce motion. Bipods permit operators to easily rest their rifle on objects or the ground, reducing their fatigue and increasing accuracy and stability. Bipods are often used by both hunters and target shooters.
With the right bipod, you can improve your shooting accuracy tremendously. The more stable you can hold your rifle, the better the chance of hitting your mark.
