SAA SILENCER ADAPTER KRAL 25MM

Powerful Kral PCP airguns can produce quite a muzzle report. Quiet that bark down with a moderator / silencer and this easy to install adapter.

Why get an adapter?

The Bigmax X and Jumbo Dazzle do come with a silencer adapter that is screwed onto the shroud. However, this standard silencer threading has a little “shoulder” or “lip” that prevents many silencers from seating flush with the shroud.

This can be circumvented by creating a counter-bore in your silencer endcap. Approximately 16mm in diameter, approximately 4mm to 6.4mm deep. You have to double check on your own rifle, as the dimensions vary depending on batch. These modifications are at your own risk. Now, you don’t necessarily want to drill into your endcap. Maybe it’s an expensive silencer or you’d like to use it on another rifle.

On the other hand, the Super Jumbo comes with a standard Kral silencer, made specifically for this rifle. The shroud and barrel do not accommodate aftermarket silencers, as this standard Kral silencer basically screws onto the shroud. Unfortunately, this leaves you stuck with moderate sound moderation with no option to use a “quieter” silencer.

This is where the SAA Silencer Kral Adapter comes in handy – no need to drill or alter anything! And you have the choice to fit any 1/2″UNF threaded silencer or moderator! Additionally, this adapter will ultimately improve your accuracy by centring your barrel.

How to install

Firstly, screw off the end cap and/or silencer adapter on your rifle’s standard shroud. Next, screw in this silencer adapter, with the thick side side first into the shroud and onto the barrel, where applicable. Next, you can screw on a silencer of your choice and enjoy your now extra quiet rifle. You can, of course, still shoot your rifle with just the adapter in place.

In the end, we highly recommend taking the silencer off your rifle when transporting or storing. These adapters were designed to be sturdy and withstand everyday use. There is, however, always a small chance of impact to your silencer when it is on the pellet gun. This could result in clipping if the impact managed to slightly bend or damage the threading on your adapter or barrel.
