The Samyang Eagle Claw Carbine 5.5mm is one of the most robust air rifles available! Perfectly balanced, it feels like a traditional rifle and is an easy-to-cock, lever-action repeater. Originally made for hunting, it is powerful and accurate, but also very adjustable. Additionally, the rifle looks the part and is beautifully made and finished.

This airgun’s Indonesian Walnut Monte Carlo stock has beautiful checkering on the grip and forearm. It also features a rubber recoil pad for shouldering comfort. The super accurate barrel is fed by an innovative 10 shot magazine that allows you quick follow-up shots. With the Picatinny rail on the breech, it easy to fit a scope or other optics, too.

The Eagle Claw carbine features a shrouded, 43cm barrel, which tames the report for backyard-friendly shooting. On a full air cylinder, this carbine gets about 28 shots in .22 calibre with the power set to the maximum, according to the manufacturer. With an overall length of 98cm and weighing in at 3.6kg, this lightweight, maneuverable airgun is the perfect companion in the woods, out in the field or at the range.

Powerhouse

Powered by a 380cc air cylinder, these carbines have easily adjustable power settings, as well as a two-stage adjustable trigger. They can send pellets downrange way over 1000 fps and as low as 550 fps. Therefore, they produce muzzle energies over 48 foot pounds! They’re the perfect tools for pest elimination, small-game hunting, as well as target practice or plinking.

We tested 25.39 grain JSB Monster pellets and got 930fps. This delivers 48ft.lb energy at the muzzle. Heavier pellets, like 33.956 grain JSB Beast, will deliver higher power. Shot count will, however, go down between fills. Lighter pellets like 18 grain at the right power setting deliveres great shot count, accuracy and very respectable power!

As far as power and accuracy goes, there’s very few rifles that can keep up with it at this price!
