SCOPE RETICLE LEVELLING SYSTEM
Use the Scope Reticle Levelling System to precisely align your scope’s reticle with your rifle. Suitable for all airguns and firearms. Easy to use, you can maximise your accuracy potential with this 2-piece unit.
Levelling systems are precision tools and techniques. Designed to allow you to perfectly level a scope on any airgun or firearm with ease. CNC machined, factory adjusted calibration set screws, with anodised aluminium construction. The Reference Level is also magnetic, ensuring it stays in place.
This system is comprised of two machined aluminium level housings calibrated to their integrated levels. Firstly, you attach the Barrel Clamp Level to the gun’s barrel. Meanwhile, place the smaller Reference Level on the scope base, bottom half of a ring or another flat surface perpendicular to the vertical axis of the gun. You then rotate the gun until the Reference Level alignes. Thereafter, turn the tuning adjustment knob on the Barrel Clamp Level until you get a centred level, matching the Reference Level.
At this point the Barrel Clamp Level is calibrated to the gun’s axis. Install your scope loosely and place the Reference Level on top of the scope’s turret cap. Rotate the scope until you align the Reference Level with the Barrel Clamp Level and then simply secure it in place.
Why Use A Levelling System?
Thanks to many technological advances, today’s modern rifles, ammunition and optics provide the potential for long range accuracy. Precision mounting and alignment of your system’s scope, however, is critical to realising the accuracy. You must precisely align your scope’s reticle with the rifle. This ensure that your holdover or turret adjustments for bullet drop produce true vertical compensation for point of impact. If the crosshairs are canted left or right both elevation and windage bullet impact error will occur.
