The legs adjust out to near-flat for ground-level, prone, or awkward-angle shooting. When the hunt pushes you into the dirt, this tripod’s right there with you. You also get a hook on the bottom of the tripod head. Use this hook for stability by hanging weight (such as a camera bag, sandbag, or backpack) to prevent the tripod from tipping over. It lowers the centre of gravity, making the setup much steadier in windy conditions or when using heavy gear.
Angle-selectors allow you to set each leg independently to different angles, crucial for stabilising on uneven terrain, achieving low-angle or macro shots, and adjusting the stability footprint.
