BRK GHOST HP 711MM SLUG BLACK 5.5MM
The BRK Ghost HP 711mm Slug Black 5.5mm is the high-power version, but fitted with a dedicated 28″ match-grade slug barrel. Designed for slug performance, especially for shooting heavy airgun slugs. Built around a timeless deep black-coloured chassis for rigidity, you get both accuracy and consistency in a sleek design.
For those who did not know, British airgun manufacturer Brocock rebranded as BRK in October 2022 to reflect its evolution as a premier global maker of PCP air rifles. Along with sister company Daystate, BRK is known best for top-tier airguns, premium quality and high performance.
The BRK Ghost is their flagship model with all the bells and whistles and this version is focused on stabilising heavy slugs at optimal velocities. Of course, you still get the basic Ghost features that made the model popular world-wide.
The BRK Ghost HP
The High Power (HP) features a 480cc carbon HiLite air bottle. Thanks to a quick and easy interchangeable barrel system, you can swop the calibre in minutes. All of the components are interchangeable, of course, and you can have multiple barrels and multiple calibres for the same platform.
These rifles, like all other BRK rifles, come factory-fitted with a Huma Regulator. The power dial at the back of the action offers no fewer than 20 settings, providing multiple power levels at your fingertips. It’s actually a graduated hammer spring adjuster for precise power tuning. There’s also a finger-adjustable dial to adjust the BRK Ghost’s regulator pressure.
Furthermore, you get Brocock’s proven sidelever action, user-swappable from right- to left-hand operation. There’s also an adjustable cheek and buttpad, and left- or right- magazine feed. These are features that make the Ghost truly ambidextrous.
Supplied with a hard case, the Brocock BRK Ghost has many more desirable features. These include a fully adjustable, match-style trigger, as well as fully-shrouded barrel with a ½ in UNF thread for an additional silencer. You get a cross-bolt manual safety and also three additional accessory rails.
Likewise, the shoulder piece sports a mini Weaver/Picatinny rail for mounting a bag rider. A very nice detail on the BRK Ghost is the fact that you can adjust the Weaver/Picatinny scope rail over the full length of the action. Because of this, you can mount just about any riflescope or red dot with a perfect eye relief. The Ghost’s magnetic magazine can “double-up” by twinning two units back-to-back. This provides an onboard payload of 20 shots, however still retains a compact profile.
