CAMO GUN REST BAGS

These 2-piece Camo Gun Rest Bags are a favourite amongst casual and also professional shooters. They’re perfect to shoot off or safely and securely rest your rifle on when not in use. Made from dirt-proof polyester, the bags are both sturdy and durable enough to support large calibre rifles and daily use.

Many bench rest shooters prefer the versatility of shooting bags to stands. They are quick and easy to move or readjust for different rifles. It is a simple matter of flipping a bag or giving it a squeeze to plump it back up. Together these bags keep your rifle reasonably level, so you can take rested shots with less effort to keep still.

The smaller of the two bags rests at the rear end of the stock and has a V-shaped notch to securely hold your rifle in place. Similarly, the larger bag goes under the front end of the rifle stock. This larger bag also boasts a V-shaped notch, but can be put down on any of the sides to quickly give you your best angle. These bags have a soft, woven outer layer to prevent scratching your rifle, as well as any surface you use them on. The V-shape of the larger bag has an even softer, velvety stretch of orange material. With neat stitching and a realistic scaled camo design, these bags not only add functionality, but look the part, too.

The larger bag sports a set of D-rings, while the smaller bag sports a snap hook. In this way, they can be clipped together to make transport easier and prevent them being separated.

Filling Instructions

The bags are shipped unfilled. Each bag has a velcro-sealed hose opening for filling the bags up. If you intend to use them for larger calibre rifles, experts recommend filling them with plastic ballast to help absorb the recoil shock.

Fill the bags through their spouts, which are located on the bottom of each bag. We recommend a lightweight filler material (for example maize, dry beans, rice, cat litter, etc.)
Use a funnel if you have one to make the filling process quicker.
You can use a round-ended rod through the spout to pack out the bag to your required shape.
Once filled, simply close the velcro on the spouts and tuck them underneath the durable nylon straps.
Do not fill these bags with sand, as the material is quite dense and will put unnecessary stress on the seams.
