For weatherproofing and use in high-angle firefights, gear-driven elevation, and windage turrets are capped. Capped Turrets: The low-profile capped turrets provide protection from bumps and the elements, and they come with illuminated reticles to provide a precise aim point in dim lighting.
Intelligent Reticle: A BDC reticle that enables trajectory matching for various rifle and bullet configurations is the Element HELIX HD RAPTR-1 (Rapid Trajectory). This Second Focal Plane was created with an 8x magnification in mind.
