The FX Crown MKII GRS Green Mountain Laminate Left Hand 5.5mm is the astonishing successor of the original FX Crown. It features some significant improvements that’ll provide more power and will make this air rifle even more suitable for long distance shooting. Thus, combined with a breathtakingly beautiful GRS stock, this rifle an absolute legend! This version is for the left-handed shooters, of course.
Some features that set this stunning rifle aside from the previous Crown model, are a 28% larger plenum, as well as a bigger 6.5mm valve and redeveloped porting. Furthermore, the 20 MOA Weaver/Picatinny rail results in more elevation adjustment on your rifle scope. Of course, this FX rifle has multiple adjustment options to finetune the power to match calibre and ammunition of choice up to perfection. These include an externally adjustable AMP (Adjustable Match Precision) regulator, an adjustable valve, as well as a Power Adjuster. The adjuster allows macro and micro adjustment of the hammer spring.
The Crown MKII GRS has a Superlight STX (Smooth Twist X) barrel system with changeable liners. These liners feature rifling pressed in from the outside. This makes for minimal friction and minimal tolerances. It’s a very accurate barrel system, with the added advantage that twist rates and even calibres can be changed in the flick of a wrist.
Furthermore, the FX Crown MKII version features a 480cc carbon air cylinder and FX Match trigger with adjustable first and second stage. Naturally, this trigger has an extremely low trigger weight!
The GRS Stock
The eye catcher on this Swedish beauty is, of course, the perfectly finished stock made by GRS. This Norwegian company is famous for its innovative, highly adjustable rifle stocks. And the one used on this FX is an absolute masterpiece. This is the first-ever GRS rifle stock for an airgun!
The stock is built-up from glued thin layers of birch. This method of laminating is less susceptible to changes in temperatures or humidity, as opposed to normal wood. It also gives a breathtaking, stunning appearance to the rifle’s stock.
The perfectly shaped asymmetric grip is ergonomic, offset and angled, and together with the broad for-end, offers unsurpassed shooting comfort. It is specifically made for left handed use, as is the cheek piece. The height of the cheek piece, as well as the length of pull can be adjusted. You can do this without tools, as you only need to push a button. The recoil damping buttpad is made from soft and grippy rubber. Moreover, it is by far the most comfortable shouldering effect we’ve ever felt.
