KRAL PUNCHER SUPER JUMBO WALNUT 5.5MM
The Kral Puncher Super Jumbo Walnut 5.5mm PCP sports a beautifully crafted Turkish Walnut stock. This package includes two 12-shot magazines, Picatinny rail for forearm, Kral bipod, a silencer, as well as a new, improved hard gun case. A true Turkish wonder that slings lead like a dream, including slugs!
Indeed, the new hard case truly is an improvement on the previous version. It features two wheels on one of the long sides and a handle on the other, so you can cart your case anywhere! The middle handle is ergonomic and very comfortable in the hand, while the 4 slide locks are a great improvement on those red clips that tend to pop off. The case is also lined and feels much sturdier than the previous version.
Kral also changed the included silencer. Now, unlike with previous batches, you get a 1/2 x 20 UNF adapter included and a tapered, threaded silencer!
Power
Depending on batches manufactured and imported, you can expect between 30 ft.lbs and 33 ft.lbs stock standard. Of course, being adjustable, you can up the muzzle energy with some hammer spring adjustment. However, we highly recommend getting a chronograph before trying to “tune” any air rifle.
The Super Jumbo is undoubtedly capable and is as accurate as your own abilities allow. As for upgradability, just add our Kral Power Upgrade & Tuning and get about 10ft.lbs more from this rifle! It can even be more, depending on the individual barrel and rifle, of course. That is the beauty of these Kral rifles; they are unique. We highly recommend a power upgrade if you plan on shooting any slug weight, even more so if your slugs are over 25 grain.
Features
The rifle features a 500cc air bottle with a working pressure of 250BAR. This gives you loads of shots before your next fill. Exact shot count is impossible to gauge for each rifle, as pellet or slug weight and also power levels have a direct impact. Heavier projectiles give lower shot counts. Likewise, so do higher power settings. An average shot count of 140 has been reported when shooting 15.89 grain JSB at 900fps.
Kral’s Super Jumbo boasts all the Kral Puncher features. Adjustable two-stage trigger, ventilated recoil pad, 11 and 22mm scope rail and a power adjuster knob which corresponds with a +/- vernier on the opposite side of the block. The sidelever cocking is smooth, cycling the 12-shot magazine with ease. Just below the sidelever sits a pendulum-style manual safety catch.
It’s not a regulated PCP, but obviously enjoys a well-designed main valve judging by both the incredible consistency between shots and the general lack of power ‘curve’ throughout the charge. The rifled steel barrel has been carefully picked to assure the best in accuracy and consistency. Kral added a full shroud with endcap that features a lengthy ½” UNF thread and thread protector. You get a threaded, tapered silencer with the rifle, but can opt for a more effective, aftermarket product if you so choose.
Remember to add 1/8″ FEMALE STANDARD SERIES MALE NIPPLE. You need it for the fill coupler to connect to quick-connect filling couplers!
