AIR ARMS ALFA SPORT PISTOL PCP 4.5MM
The Air Arms Alfa Sport Pistol PCP 4.5mm has more performance features than many airguns twice its size, and twice its cost. Within its recoilless, pre-charged pneumatic action, a power regulator has been installed to maintain consistency of muzzle energy. Also, because the air reservoir is in the pistol’s stippled walnut grip, the Alfa’s balance is excellent and assists on-aim stability.
Further stability comes from the slots in the pistol’s barrel shroud, which form an anti-flip muzzle brake. Additionally, stability comes from the mounting rail at the base of the shroud, which accepts the supplied counterweight for perfect balance.
The match-type trigger offers multiple position and let-off adjustments. It is adjustable for pull, position and travel and you can set it for 2-stage or single-stage. The trigger-pull set by the factory is 8 oz. The pistol includes one removable 6-oz. weight, while the rail under the barrel is 7″ long for attachment of the weight. Furthermore, you can “dry-fire” the Alfa, providing a training facility without needing to discharge pellets.
For optics, the Alfa features a 11mm rail on top of the barrel. The pistol’s competition sights are fully adjustable. It’s front sight adjusts to 3 widths, while the rear sight adjusts for elevation, windage and 2 widths. With its compressed air reservoir housed in the grip, it gives over 80 recoilless shots from every re-charge. The Alfa makes a perfect training pistol or club competition pistol, and if you’re ready to take up the target pistol challenge, the ideal introduction is ready and waiting.
