The PCP1000 really is a powerhouse in precision shooting. This pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) air rifle boasts a 100cc air capacity, ensuring consistent and powerful shots. With a fill pressure of 200 Bar (3000psi) you get reliable performance. Because of the .22 caliber (5.5mm) rifled steel barrel, paired with a side-lever action, you’ll have accuracy with every shot.
Designed for efficiency, the PCP1000 operates as a repeater, featuring a generous 10-shot capacity for extended shooting sessions. You have complete control with the manual safety mechanism, and the Biathlon side-lever cocking is easy and smooth.
Furthermore, you can fit a scope for longer range shooting, thanks to the dovetail scope rail. But, that’s not all – You also get open sights! You can adjust the rear sight for windage and elevation, while the front sight is red fiber optics for fast and easy alignment. Perfect for beginners saving up for a scope or to teach youngsters open sight shooting.
Nova Vista gave this model a wooden traditional long rifle style stock, of course. You get a rubber buttpad for comfortable shouldering, a checkered grip and contouring on the forend for easy handling and grip.

Budget Rifle
Although we are quite impressed with the PCP1000, the features and power you get at this price range, it is still a budget, entry-level air rifle. Some points are worth mentioning, especially to new shooters, just to manage expectations and help shooters choose the right product for their specific needs.
So, a few things to note when considering buying this PCP:
Because of the amount of power it puts out, it does give quite a bark. Nova Vista did not thread the barrel for sound moderation, either, so you can’t fit a silencer to it at this stage.
To keep the rifle as lightweight and affordable as possible, they gave it a smaller airtube than their other models. With this amount of power, you can’t expect a massive shot count between fills.
Although you get open sights, of which the rear is adjustable, we highly recommend fitting a rifle scope. The sights are not precision sights at this price range and a scope will improve accuracy tremendously.
Lastly, you will notice that the trigger does require more effort to pull than on other models. This was intentional, apparently, to prevent accidental firing, especially with youngsters and the high power output from the rifle.
Warranty
Providing a guarantee or warranty on air rifles is quite tricky, as the manufacturer, importer and reseller isn’t present when the item is used. Overfilling, shooting too low, filling incorrectly, loading incorrectly, firing incorrectly, etc. could all cause problems with performance and functioning. Therefore, we only get guaranteed that the rifle was made to the required standard. It is not a competition rifle, but a budget, entry-level airgun. We do, however, inspect and test each one to ensure it functions correctly before sending it out.
