VIXEN JAPAN GEOMA II ED 52-A SPOTTING SCOPE
Spotting scopes, like the Vixen Japan Geoma II ED 52-A Spotting Scope, are commonly used to score targets at varying distances. This is Vixen’s smallest, most compact scope yet!
The Geoma II ED Series gives you all the features of the non ED product. Additionally, it adds the highest quality extra low dispersion glass. You generally only find this glass on spotting scopes three times the price. The ED glass produces high-contrast images with no false color. You get PFM (Perfect Full Multicoating) on all surfaces of the lens and prisms, as well.
With this scope, you get a more refined alignment of color at the point of focus. Whenever you observe at high magnification, or with heavily-backlit subjects, the ED glass advantage is apparent. Subject color fidelity and edge delineation are precise. Furthermore, it is free of distracting ebbs in the resolving power of the lens.
Vixen’s smallest scope equipped with ED glass, this model is a collapsing-body model. It is perfect for casual observing. From a monopod, car window mount, or even hand-held upon occasion. There’s a host of optional eyepieces you can get, too. They can provide you with high magnification, wide fields, or tiny dimensions.
However, right out of the box you get a truly premium ocular, which isn’t too common in the little scope packages. This scope’s a great device on a wildlife observing excursion, too.
